Accommodations
While at Frandy Oaks, guests are housed in our quaint, nineteen run kennel. Our indoor/outdoor runs measure 4' x 8' on the inside and 4' x 5' on the outside. For additional comfort, the kennel is equipped with central air conditioning . Guests are secured inside at night and when the weather dictates. Family members may share a run.
Mealtime
Meals are typically served twice daily. A variety of dry kibble is provided. However, you are welcome to bring your pets own food. Please bring only enough for the anticipated stay and we will feed as per your instructions. Fresh water is provided at all times. Excessive diet preparations subject to charge.
Bedding
Kuranda cots and soft bedding materials are provided. Feel free to bring your pet’s favorite washable bedding if you desire. Please limit number of toys.
Exercise
Guests are typically exercised twice daily. Exercise may include a play time in our secured, two acre play yard or a leash walk down our country road. Time out will vary depending on circumstances such as weather and guest’s needs.
We at Frandy Oaks recognize the special needs of the very young and very old. Extra yard time may be given as well as special attention to bedding, cleaning and visual monitoring.
Extras
Baths: Must be prearranged and approved by a kennel operator at check in. We can no longer guarantee a bath at pick up.
Extra Play Time: An extra time out in the yard to stretch, sniff or take care of any unfinished business.
Extra Walk: A leash walk down our country road outside the kennel grounds. Great for those guests who prefer company on their outings.
Medication Administration: Frandy Oaks can administer necessary medications and supplements. All prescription medication must be in a container labeled with current dosage rate, medication identification and prescribing veterinarian contact information. All medication and supplement administrations subject to a minimum charge.

All age appropriate vaccinations must be current.
All pets over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered.

VaccinationsRabies, Distemper/Parvo Combo, and Bordetella vaccinations must be current and administered by a licensed veterinarian. Documentation is required prior to admission. You may have your veterinarian email or fax your pet’s vaccinations records (preferred) or bring them with you at check in.

General ConditionAll guests must be of acceptable cleanliness and free of fleas and ticks. Baths are available for most through Frandy Oaks.

BehaviorBecause we do a lot of hands on interaction with our canine guest, only friendly, companion animals are accepted. All animals over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered. Certain dogs may be subject to evaluation before admission.
