Grooming

In-House
During your pets stay with FOPR, why not take advantages of our grooming services!? These services include: baths, baths with brush outs, nail trims, ear cleanings, sanitary clips, trims and shave-offs. Baths are typically done on day of pick-up. However, if an early pickup time is scheduled, the bath can be done the day before or any time during the pet's stay. FOPR uses animal friendly products that are gentle to the skin and coat and only organic pesticides. All admission requirements apply.

By Appointment
If you are not staying with us at FOPR but need our grooming services, please call and set up an appointment. Labor intensive grooming is usually scheduled during the middle of the week. A simple bath can be accommodated at most times. All admission requirements apply.

Shuttle Service
Whether you want your own groomer to work on your pet or if you require grooming beyond our expertise, FOPR can provide transportation to an outside groomer for your pet during their stay with us. Scheduling needs to be worked out in advance.

Admission Requirements
Vaccinations: Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella vaccinations for dogs, and Rabies and EVRCP vaccinations for cats must be current and administered by a licensed veterinarian. Documentation is required.

General Condition: All guests must be of acceptable cleanliness and free of fleas and ticks. Bathing and limited grooming is available through FOPR.

Behavior: Because we do a lot of hands on interaction with our canine guest, only friendly, companion animals are accepted. Certain dogs may be subject to evaluation before admission.

Reservations: Reservations are required. During holidays and summer seasons, advanced reservations of four to six weeks recommended. Confirmation response from FOPR needed to secure e-mail reservations.
