Accommodations
While at FOPR, guests are housed in our quaint, nineteen run kennel.
Our indoor/outdoor runs measure 4' x 8' on the inside and 4' x 5' on
the outside. We have one double size run. For additional comfort, the
kennel is equipped with central air conditioning and of course, a variety
of music is provided. Guests are secured inside at night and when the
weather is bad. Family members may share a run.
Mealtime
Meals are typically served twice daily. A variety of diets are provided
for our guest. We feed Nutro. However, you are welcome to bring your
pets own food. Please bring only enough for the anticipated stay and
we will feed as per your instructions. Fresh water is provided at all
times.
Bedding
Kuranda cots and soft bedding materials are provided. Feel free to bring
your pet’s favorite washable bedding if you desire. Please limit
number of toys.
Exercise
Guests are typically exercised twice daily. Exercise may include a play
time in our secured, two acre play yard or a leash walk down our country
road. Time out will vary depending on circumstances such as weather
and guest’s needs.
We
at FOPR recognize the special needs of the very young and very old.
Extra yard time may be given as well as special attention to bedding,
cleaning and visual monitoring.
Extras
Extra Play Time: An extra time out in the yard to stretch,
sniff or take care of any unfinished business.
Extra
Walks: A leash walk down our country road outside the kennel grounds.
Great for those guests who prefer company on their outings.
Interactive Play Time: A twenty minute, interactive playtime with
one of our animal caregivers. A must for those who demand ball or Frisbee
time, water sports, lap time, scratching, hiking, or just want to “ham
it up” and feel like a VIP.
Medication
Administration: FOPR can administer necessary medications and supplements.
Excessive medications, injections, and hands on treatments subject to
charge.
Shuttle

apply and owner must be present at drop-off. Service limited by driving
distance.
